Your mum is awful but I guess I'll give her the benefit of the doubt and say she just has your best interest at heart. Maybe she has had a bad experience or two with relationships in the past where men used her. You should talk to her about why she says all those things even though it might be difficult because she's made you feel so bad in the past, but if you do it could end up strengthening your relationship with her. You can have all the boyfriends in the world but you can only have one mother.
