Fujitsu lap top not turning on or charging?

I spilled juice on my mother's laptop, and I dried it off. It worked fine for about 3 hours, but I noticed that it was not charging. The battery charge LED light is off, and the battery LED light is red. Then it turned off, and it seems pretty dead, and all LED lights are off Tried plugging in the power cord through several outlets but nothing worked. I tried every single method I found from googling and nothing worked. I am pretty sure that the motherboard is not fried, because it worked like a charm. Just the power... What should I do??? :*( Please help! It's my mother's computer and I effed it up and now she's pretty sad.
