What are some good ways to keep your mind off things? I think I may be too focused if that even makes sense?
For some reason I always had a non stop motor. I can sit down and focus on a task for hours at a time if I put my mind to it. It helped me during school but life after graduation I find it extremely inhibiting. For example, I would be reading an article and something in it will catch my eye. Then I'll devote the next 2 hours researching it and jotting down notes about it. It's crazy. This is why I drink so much now to clam me down. If I don't take depressants or drink I am able to function on 3-4 hours of sleep per night. It's like I am on meth 24/7 even though I never take any stimulants or drink coffee. What could be wrong with me? I have been this way for past 10+ years.
