Teriyaki Chicken Recipe?

I was at this cook out party yesterday and the chicken was soooooo good. They said it was teriyaki chicken. But you know how fried chicken tastes, with the crunchy outside. Thats hoow it was but it haad teriyaki sauce on. Does anyone know how i could make it. It was soooooo good lol. Someone please help me with a run down. Thanks
