Puppy doesn't seem to recognize people.?

He might be a very protective breed like a Chihuahua or German shepherd. They tend to have one person they are protective of. Eventually he'll get used to the rest of the family. Just give him some time. Just try to get him socialized with other people than just them and other animals and dogs. He is probably not used to his new.surroundings and is just trying to find his bearrings.
